AGM Notice 2024
East Region Netball Association
Annual General Meeting 2024
The Netball East Regional Management Board (the ‘board’) would like to notify its members that the East Region AGM will be held on Sunday 14th July at 11am. The meeting will be held at Slepe Hall, Ramsey Rd, St. Ives, Cambridgeshire, PE27 5RB. (Registrations will open from 10.30am).
Any voting member is entitled to submit a proposal to amend the constitution or to propose a member to the board. Such proposals must be:
- made in writing.
- seconded by another voting member.
- emailed to the East Region office (east@englandnetball.co.uk) and
- submitted by 5pm on Thursday 20th June 2024.
Voting members are defined as:
- Each County Association situated within the regional boundaries of the East.
- All clubs whose nominated primary county is located within the regional boundaries.
- Member schools who pay membership fees to England Netball.
All East Region members are welcome to attend, however, each club and school (as defined above) will only receive one vote. Persons attending may only cast one vote on proposals.
Please note that since the last AGM Ruth Plant, Volunteer and Recognition Lead has resigned from the RMB. Until the 2024 AGM, the position is vacant. Yvonne Adshead is standing down from her role as the People and Programme lead. In addition, Paul Clark is seeking re-election as Regional Chair and Charlotte Dennis has been co-opted to the RMB as the Digital Lead. Both will stand for election at the AGM.
